Meet the Owner

Hi, I'm Jen, founder of Secondhand Sweeties.

For more than 30 years, I've been married to my husband. Together we've raised two wonderful daughters.

Family has always been at the center of everything I do. As a mom—and an aunt to nieces and nephews ranging from toddlers to young adults—I've seen firsthand just how quickly children outgrow clothes, toys, books, and baby gear. Perfectly good items often end up taking over closets, basements, and garages simply because families don't have the time to sell them.

What started as a simple favor for my sister became something much bigger. She asked if I could help sell her children's outgrown items, so I sorted, photographed, listed, and managed the entire selling process. Soon a friend asked for help. Then another. Before long, I realized there were countless busy families who wanted to reclaim space in their homes but simply didn't have the time to manage the resale process themselves.

That's how Secondhand Sweeties was born.

Today, I help families throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area turn clutter into cash through a truly done-for-you resale service. From pickup and sorting to photographing, pricing, listing, customer communication, shipping, and reporting, I personally manage every detail with care and attention.

One of my guiding principles is simple:
